What’s in My Bag
I was never the type to carry a bag with me wherever I’d go. You can ask my mom, she always tells me off when I say I’ve left my money/phone at home. Because you don’t have a bag, she says. I used to just keep my phone in my back pocket and I was good to go.
Then I started going out without my mom so I had to carry around cash in my other back pocket and then I got a driver’s license and opened a bank account so I had to have a wallet for those cards. It was like the older I got, the more stuff I had to carry with me. I’m still not a fan of bags but I have to admit: it’s made life much easier.
This is not me telling you what you should always have with you. These things are not every girl’s essentials. The contents of my bag change every so often and last week I decided to take pictures of what I had in my bag (which was a Louis Vuitton Montorgueil I borrowed from my sister) and I’ll be showing you new stuff that’s “in my bag” every week from now on :)
Bicycle Playing Cards - If you’ve been a longtime reader you would know that I’ve been addicted to Pusoy Dos since high school and I always have to have a deck with me because I play almost everyday with my boyfriend. We have Pusoy Dos tournaments for dates. Hehe. This pack is special because it’s not the usual black/red deck! I also have this in lavender/dark violet :)
Blackberry Bold 9700 - I love my Blackberry. With Globe Supersurf (unlimited internet) I only pay PhP1,200/mo and I’m connected to the internet everyday. It comes with a holster and I put a Suplado sticker on mine :)
Spa Wisdom Japan Finishing Mist (The Body Shop) - To spray on when I’m feeling tired. I smell Japan (as if I’ve ever been there haha) and I feel inspired. It smells really good. I’ve just always had a fascination with anything Japanese :)
Face Powder 06 (The Body Shop) - After I went to Boracay I couldn’t use my MAC C2 anymore because my skin got a lot darker. Mom bought me this one and I’m just waiting for it to run out because I don’t want to waste it but it smelled weird even if it was brand new haha! In any case, it keeps my face matte :p
MAC Girl About Town lipstick - For spontaneous nights out. I just need my hot pink lipstick and I won’t care about being underdressed. Click here to see a photo of me wearing it.
Lip and cheek stain (The Body Shop) - For when I’m looking really tired and my skin shows it, I just put a little bit of color on my cheeks and lips and I look healthy again! Click here to see a photo of me wearing it.
Airbrush concealer (Clinique) - I have to say this is one of the best concealers ever. It’s called airbrush and it’s like I’m photoshopping my face. Haha.
iPod Classic (120GB) - Just because!
Samsung Netbook 220 - Because I’m addicted to the internet and my Blackberry isn’t enough. Haha. I love how it’s so small that it fits right in my bag. Like I said before, it has a very long battery life so I don’t have to bring the charger with me.
